i'm prone to getting sick in the heat. it's not exactly hyperthermia because i don't get all of the major symptoms, but closer to heat syncope. usually, i get a low-grade fever coupled with dehydration and exhaustion. so i had this yesterday, but i'm still feeling its effects today. other than going trail-riding this morning, i have done absolutely ( Read more... ) -

- on the way home from the trail sunday, i saw this thing on the side of the road that looked like a tree stump. when i got closer, i realized it was a hawk. so i crept up really quietly and just watched it. it watched me back and then flew up into the air. so beautiful!
